Very attractive little house in attractive courtyard development right in the heart of Dinan’s beautiful & bustling port. Electronic entrance gates. Patio. Private parking slot. The house is beautifully decorated in natural colours and fabrics and has a really restful and relaxing feel – a friendly and welcoming home to come back to at the end of a day exploring the delights of Dinan and this wonderful part of Brittany.

Just imagine wandering out and sitting at the riverside with your morning coffee enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this magical spot before the daily bustle begins. Walk to the boulangerie by the little hump back bridge for wonderful bread and croissants. Later in the day a couple of paces take you to a café or restaurant for a lazy lunch or dinner. For days when you are feeling more energetic, climb the steep, cobbled, rue Jerzual, lined with medieval houses festooned with geraniums. This leads up into the heart of old Dinan, where there are more medieval treasures to discover.

This is a captivating town. The old centre is small enough to explore on foot but with plenty to provide interest for a stay of one or two weeks. Though it may look like a film set, Dinan is not just a tourist attraction. It is a vibrant town where people live and work throughout the year. The market is held on Thursday morning. During the summer there are many small events and attractions and every two years the town stages its well known Fête des Remparts, one of the biggest medieval festivals in Europe, when Dinan returns to the Middle Ages for a weekend of jousting, battles etc. Great fun for all the family.

How to get there

The nearest ferry port is St Malo – 25 minutes. Cherbourg and Caën are 2 - 3 hours. Roscoff about 2 hours
Ryanair fly daily from Stansted to Dinard airport, Pleurtuit, which is 25 minutes drive
