This delightful little house, situated in an old part of Dinan, is less than 10 minutes walk through quiet streets to the medieval town centre with its ramparts, château, timber framed houses, art and craft galleries, restaurants and shops and much, much more. Just turn left out of the house and keep walking, passing through the ramparts via the arched gateway of the porte St Malo. The picturesque little port on the river Rance is about 15 minutes walk. Turn left down the steep, cobbled rue Jerzual shortly after passing through the porte St Malo.

Turn right out of the house and a couple of minutes walk will bring you to a boulangerie, boucherie, a pharmacie and a small supermarket

Dinan's weekly market is on Thursday morning on the Place du Champ Clos and the Place Duguesclin.

Activities in the area include walking, cycling, horse riding, golf (7 courses within half an hour or so's drive), tennis and of course water sports. The magnificent and unspoilt coast of North Brittany with its huge, clean, sandy beaches and breathtaking rocky headlands is only half an hour's drive from Dinan

The house itself is decorated throughout with natural colours and fabrics. The ground floor sitting/dining room is bright and cheerful with splashes of yellow. There is a separate modern kitchen equipped with breakfast bar, dishwasher, washing/drying machine, electric oven and gas hob. Also on the ground floor is the shower room/WC. On the first floor is a twin bedded room and on the top floor is a double bedded room with exposed beams.

The house is heated by electric wall mounted convector heaters and there is a gas fired ‘woodburning stove’.

There is a TV (Sky Free to Air channels) and a radio/CD player.

This is a very attractive and comfortable little house - an ideal base for exploring Dinan and the surrounding region

How to get there

The nearest ferry port is St Malo – 25 minutes. Cherbourg and Caën are 2 - 3 hours. Roscoff about 2 hours
Ryanair fly daily from Stansted to Dinard airport, Pleurtuit, which is 25 minutes drive
